Ashford’s Health and Wellbeing Board was set up
following central government reforms.
It
is a sub-committee of the Kent Health and Wellbeing Board. With
health professionals and expert officers working together, the
board puts accountability for local health matters firmly in the
hands of local people. Most importantly of all though is that the
voice of Ashford's residents is heard, through elected members,
HealthWatch and patient representatives.
