7.Part I – For Decision
 This report details the results of the recent consultation inrespect to the making of the Amendment 16 traffic order. Theorder which relates to parking and waiting restrictions inAshford town centre consists in the main of administrativeamendments to the existing traffic order intended to improvethe accuracy of the descriptions of the restrictions marked onthe ground - thereby facilitating the full enforcement of theshared space area and elsewhere in the town centre. Inaddition there are a small number of physical changesproposed within the order.
 Proposed Alterations to the Waiting and Parking Restrictions in Ashford Town Centre – Amendment 16 
8.This report updates the Board on progress with the schemeand seeks approval for the maintenance plan at VictoriaSquare and works to the junction at A28 Chart Road/LoudonWay.The funding agreement with HCA is completed KCC haveentered into contract with Volker Fitzpatrick to construct theworks the land acquisitions and related agreements have allbeen completed. The tender sums allow the works to becompleted with budget

11.This report updates the Board on progress with the scheme.The Regional Infrastructure Funding (RIF) agreement withSEEDA has been completed KCC have entered into contractwith BAM Nuttall to construct the works land acquisition hasbeen completed (subject to finalisation of land for the bridge)advance site clearance has been carried out. The tendersums allow the scheme to be carried out within budget andtimescales for the funding (subject to the risks outlinedbelow).
